Sound Art
Xu Zi one of the members at “Art Basel Hong Kong 2016″ have three new audio art works, which are contemporary “Mashup” popular style audio vision art to share with you. When these tracks are installed on the computer, that you can hear the very exciting sound. This “Mashup of Audio Art”, will be a combination, of classic and modern, of East and West”. I hope that on the basis of our previous cooperation, for the “SHAPE THE FUTURE AUDIO” performance of my new style of audio art works, that we can continue our collaboration. If I can continue to exhibit these tracks and my lectures at future ART BASEL exhibitions, I will feel it is plan that will benefit us both.

Xu Zi got a message online from NASA GALLERY, they collection of artwork for launching new satellites. Xu Zi thought 40 years ago NASA launched spacecraft, the Chinese ancient instrument Guqin played “Water” to space.
Now Xu Zi can put her singing from Li Qing Zhao Song Dynasty “Phoenix stage memory with the flute”. Xu Zi put this song with the New York life the sound to mix and match together, creating a “MASHUP” new works. Why is it incorporated into the NYC life sound? Because the New York life audio from every day is a symbol .of the voice of the present era. I’m combination of Classic and Modern, of East and West, Classic, the name is “Noise of Beauty Version 1”, to the NASA GALLERY.

Xu Zi used the abstract method of painting to do a sound combination, the performance of the virtual electronic media “International Insects and Birds Forum”. Xu Zi was traveling in Iran when the idea, I thought there was only war, but I often hear the birds call, twitter noise so nice. Xu Zi from the Iranian, Chinese, and United States recorded insects and birds twitter noise, plus modern abstract audio pictures, with my recorded the song of my Song Dynasty tune, the “MASHUP” created as the second contemporary new AUDIO ART.

Xu Zi was singing recording of the ancient song “Zhaojun sad”, with a modern musicians created “Desert of Mother” mix up, and created a third audio works. The performance of the lose homeland refugees in this world, the people yearning for peace.
